My speech

My speech
“Come on Maira, let’s go, let’s go!”. “Can you wait Matthew”. Well you might be wondering who Matthew is. Well he is my big brother. Today I will be telling you about Matthew. Firstly is kind, loving and joyful. My brother loves me even when I am mean to him. He sometimes gives me money even when I don’t need it. My brother is always there to help me when I need him. You are always there to help me with my art, sports and with my homework. Your presence and availability made me more confident in what I do in school and so with my friends. You guide me in many things I do and some decisions I need to do for school and with my good friends. Sometimes when I am with him it feels like we are flying and we can do anything. When I’m with him he makes me feel stronger. We are so close, that when he goes away it feels like a little bit of me is gone. Whenever it’s my birthday he is the first one to wish me and he makes me He also takes care of me when I’m (cof cof) sick and when I get into (cry saying trouble) from my mum. Here are some things  that my brother likes to do and they are:playing rugby  and video games but his favorite video game is call of duty and also he like to do art just like me. He likes to dress nicely all the time and I  mean all the time, even at home he is the best dressed person. Also he likes to go shopping for new kicks, new clothes and so he can look cool. Matthew is someone that likes to try his best in all things and I mean all things. Thank you for all you have done for me Matthew. You are an amazing and Great brother and I don’t know what I would do without you. Matthew you are not an ordinary brother to me. You are the most fantastic brother I could have in the world.

Contamination water good or bad

Contamination water good or bad

I wonder what would happen to the earth if no one picked up the litter. Litter is rubbish that comes from people throwing their plastics, bottles and paper on the ground. Litter is dangerous because it contaminates the water and can affect the marine life and people.

If people litter it goes into the waterways. If it does then we will be drinking dirty water and we will have to buy water. Which means we will be spending lots of money that we don’t need to spend.

If farmers leave cattle waste then it goes to the sea when it rains. When it goes to the sea it kills the marine life. Which changes the food chain. E.G. Say if there won’t no more fish in the sea what would the sharks eat besides people? They would have to eat something different and the whole food chain can change by just one animal.

When your litter builds up it can create more diseases. With more diseases we have to go and see a doctor. If you see your doctor then he would not know how to make you better. Because there will be more diseases and no medicine.

In my conclusion is we should not litter because it can affect the environment.

How do bees make honey

Image result for honey bees
How do bees make honey.

First of all they have to look for some flowers so they can get nectar. Nectar is 80% water with some multiplex sugars. Most bees collect their nectar from all sorts of flowers and they are sunflowers, daisies and other flowers. Then they collect the nectar with their tongues  and that goes to their honey stomach. Did you know that bees have a second stomach ? And their second stomach is their regular stomach but their honey stomach can hold 70 mg when it is full. Bees must collect between 100-1500  flowers to collect the nectar in order to fill up their honey stomachs. Then the bees go back to their hives and make the creamy, delicious honey that we eat today.
