An ode to St Joseph

An Ode to St Joseph

O’ dearest St Joseph
Image result for st josephEyes as dark as bark on a tree
Your smile lights up a dark room
Hands as rough as wood
Hair gery as cement

The Father of Jesus Christ on earth
Born in Bethlehem
Married to virgin mary
He worked as a carpenter
He was 90 years old when he died
Died on the July 20

St Joseph how did it feel to get picked by God?
Was it fun to be the father of Jesus and why?
When you were younger did you think you would have kids?
If you have a chance to talk to this generation what would you say?
How did it feel like to know that you were a father?
You changed the world in many ways.
Thank you for being Jesus’ Father and raising him.

My name is Clare, and I will be one of the people blogging with you this summer for the Summer Learning Journey.

I really enjoyed your blog post about St Joseph as I didn't know any thing about this saint. Did you write this yourself? Would love to hear more about what this person means to you.

We are thrilled that you've registered for the Summer Learning Journey with us. I know it can sometimes be tricky to get started. I have included a link to the week one activities, but remember, you can do them in any order! Check out the activities on our website, and then post your responses to the activities here on your blog site.
